⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Sentara has taken over Velocity. They should’ve remained separate in my opinion. No one in waiting room upon arrival. The front desk person did not greet me and kept typing. I waited patiently. Finally acknowledged me. I work in customer service and former medical. She acted as though I was an inconvenience to her. Definitely needs a refresher on customer service skills. Have only been to Velocity twice. The first time was under Velocity. Had many on line slots available then, and much smoother operation. Under Sentara I did book an 11 am appointment and then got “all appointment slots are filled for the day.” Not so. Walked in early at 10:30am and no one there. I understand it’s a walk in clinic as well, but not to have available slot choices (as was the case with Velocity my first visit), was much better. Today 7-8 staff just sitting around. Saw an NP and in 5 minutes out the door w/Rx meds for bronchitis. I sincerely hope things will improve with the mgmt. of Sentara. Velocity as a stand alone operation was much better.
