Velocity Urgent Care Announces Grand Opening in Red Mill Area of Virginia Beach
WILLIAMSBURG, Va., July 2, 2019 – Velocity Urgent Care (https://velocityuc.com) has
opened its newest urgent care center in the Red Mill/Princess Anne area of Virginia Beach. The
clinic is located at 2168 General Booth Blvd, Suite 510 in Hickman Place Shopping Center at
the intersection of Nimmo Parkway and General Booth Blvd.
“Our Red Mill location demonstrates Velocity Urgent Care’s commitment to serving the citizens
of Hampton Roads,” said Velocity CEO Alan Ayers. “It is our fourth Virginia Beach location and
expands our ability to provide convenient, high-quality medical care to one of Virginia’s fastest

Velocity Urgent Care, based in Williamsburg, offers no-appointment-necessary visits with
licensed providers for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. Services also include digital
X-rays and lab capabilities on-site. Most insurance is accepted, and there is a self-pay option for
those without insurance. In addition, Velocity’s partnership with Sentara Healthcare enables
referrals and data-sharing with over 3,900 Sentara specialists and primary care providers,
including participation in Sentara Quality Care Network (SQCN).
Velocity Urgent Care now operates 14 locations across Eastern Virginia including facilities in
Carrolton, Gloucester, Newport News, Norfolk (2), South Boston, Suffolk (2), Virginia Beach (4),
Woodbridge and Williamsburg.
Velocity Urgent Care is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.
